Charter a special engagement cruise or rent watercraft including rowboats, kayaks, and multi-passenger electric boats. For those prepared to captain their own vessels, the Rio Salado Operations Center on the lake's north bank provides permits for public boating, lake closure postings and handy lake guides. Launch rowboats, kayaks, sailboats and electric boats year round. Land-lovers take advantage of the lake's 4.5 miles of shoreline, ideal for romantic walks on the water's edge, people-watching and quiet contemplation.
