Rawhide Wild West Town
23023 N. Scottsdale Road
Scottsdale, AZ 85255
480-502-1880

A Scottsdale tradition since 1971, Rawhide Wild West Town remains a must-see for out-of-towners and a familiar friend to locals. Step back in time to the Old West, a world populated by people dressed in period costume who use terms like "howdy ma'am" and "varmint." The streets are dusty but wooden facades beckon you onto the plank porches of stores with colorful displays of goods and enticing aromas from within. There's always something going on here, whether it's a stage show with can-can dancers or a gunfight in the middle of the street. Pacifists can relax; no one ever dies and the good guy always wins. The shopping is fun and quaint, a great place to pick up souvenirs of your Arizona vacation. The adjacent RV park makes it possible for you to spread your visit out over a few days and also see the surrounding area and attractions. Groups plan lively events at Rawhide with private cookout sites and areas for live entertainment, including rodeos.

The Big Thrills:
Staying true to the period theme of the Old West, the stagecoach rides, Giant Express Train, petting zoo and Buckshot Trampoline may seem tame. However, don't be surprised if you see the sheriff nabbing a dastardly villain and dragging him off to jail. Concerts and fireworks shows are a common occurrence.
